Publishing Policy

  • Publishing articles (Research Article/ Case Report/ Review Article/ Short Communication/ Mini Review/ Clinical Paper/ Technical Paper) in which seriousness, originality, innovation, sound methodology and scientific documentation are show with integrity, fluency and expression.
  • Article can be accepted in English language (American or British usage is accepted but not a mixture of both).
  • The article should be typed on one side of A4 paper, the number of article page should not be more than 12 page or less than 3 pages.
  • Formatting the manuscript: should be typed, double spaced, with margins not less than 3 cm, the author should follow the EJMS paper format.
  • Title page: The title of the article must be concise and specific, not more than 25 words, written before the text, author name (s) should be fully written. Place where the work has been done and affiliation (s). Present author (s) affiliation, postal and e-mail addresses, as well as a telephone number of the corresponding author.
  • Abstract: Should be short (100- 300 words), written as a block paragraph and state the background, objectives of the study, methodology, the significant findings and conclusions. Avoid references, non-standard abbreviation and acronyms.
  • Key words: Should be carefully selected (5 -8) words.
  • Introduction: Include the problem investigated; approached adopted provide adequate review of relevant researches, hypothesis and objectives.
  • Materials and methods:  Should include and describe when, where and how the study was conducted. Methods could be described in detail to allow replication or evaluated by peers. Scientific names should be used with common names in parenthesis for the first time; thereafter the common names may be used throughout the paper. New methods or techniques should be detailed. SI units should be used.
  • Results: Should be clear; include the data collected and type of statistic used for analysis, main findings of the research should be presented using past tense. Tables should be numbered consecutively in English and titles at top of the page, good quality photographs may sometimes be used.
  • Discussion: Significant results are evaluated and interpreted, do not repeat the results but refer to objectives and hypothesis. Relationships of result with previous researches are to be discussed. The discussion could be poled with the result sections as results and discussion.
  • Tables: Should be self-explanatory, numbered consecutively in English numerals and supplied with a heading. The same data should not be presented in both table and graph form or repeated in the text, units of measure should be metric, appropriate position should as near as possible to the place where they are referred to in the text.
  • Figures legends: Should be typed in numerical order, graphics should be prepared using applications capable of generating high resolution, use English numerals to designate figures and upper case letters for their parts, begin each legend with a title and include sufficient description so that the figure is understandable without reading the text of the manuscript, information given in legends should not be repeated in the text, photographs are not encouraged.  
  • Acknowledgment: as required by research funder or by a special effort to complete the article, and not by author.
  • The references: the list of the references used in the article is written in numerical order as they appear and data of each reference are written as the EJMS paper format
  • Please supply two soft copies of manuscript, tables and figures as well as a digital copy, which may be sent through the EJMS e-mails.
